Attempted Child Luring in Wormleysburg Reported!

On Thursday June 6, 2013, the West Shore Regional Police Department took a report of a possible child luring in Wormleysburg.  The victim a 13-year-old female reported at approximately 2PM, that she was walking alone north of N. River Street.  The victim stated just prior to Pine Street, she was approached by a gold extended cab pick up truck with no cap, and a black bumper sticker on the rear bumper approximately 12 inches is size.  The victim reported the male driver was white, in his 50′s, overweight, “ginger” colored short hair, mustache, and beard stubble asked her, “Hey hon, you ok?  I can give you a ride.”  The victim stated she said she was fine and kept walking.  The male asked her two more times and then she ran into a yard.  The gold truck circled the block and again attempted to approach the victim.  The victim then ran home.
