PButler WSR20130600025 – JUNE 2, 2013

On Sunday, June 2, 2013, around 2:20am, a West Shore Regional Police Officer was responded to the scene of a crash when he came across another accident.  A vehicle had struck one of the bridge pillars located in the 1st block of Market Street, Lemoyne.

An investigation found that the driver had been traveling west when he failed to negotiate the curve in the road and lost control.  The driver was identified as 23-year-old Patrick Thomas BUTLER, from the 200 block of 11th Street, New Cumberland.  BUTLER exhibited signs of being intoxicated and was placed under arrest.

BUTLER was transported to the Cumberland County Prison where he submitted to a blood test.  He was then processed and released pending results of that blood test.  Charges of Driving Under the Influence will be filed with MDJ Beckley’s office, once the test results are received.
