On Saturday, July 20, 2013, around 1:45am, a West Shore Regional Police officer was in the 1st block of Market Street, Lemoyne. A black SUV entered the intersection of Market Street and South Front Street, at a high rate of speed. The operator of the vehicle applied the brakes a slid sideways. The vehicle then continued to travel west on Market Street until it was stopped by the officer.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as 41-year-old Donald James STRIDACCHIO, from the 300 block of Walnut Street, Lemoyne. While speaking with STRIDACCHIO, the officer detected signs that he was intoxicated, and he was placed under arrest. STRIDACCHIO was taken to the Cumberland County Prison, where he submitted to a blood test.
The charges will be filed with MDJ Beckley’s office, once the test results are received.
