Lemoyne Man Arrested For Fraudulent License Plate

SKETHWAY  WSR20131200337 – December 13, 2013

On Friday, December 13, 2013 at 1:22am, a black 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier was stopped by a West Shore Regional Police Officer for equipment violations.  The operator, Dylon John SKETHWAY of the 800 block of Hummel Avenue in Lemoyne, was found to have a suspended driver’s license.  An investigation found that the vehicle’s registration had expired in September of 2013, however the vehicle’s registration plate displayed an expiration sticker of August of 2014.  SKETHWAY admitted to placing a valid sticker from another vehicle onto his vehicle’s registration to fraudulently make it appear to be registered.

SKETHWAY was taken into custody and taken to the Cumberland County Prison for processing and arraignment on charges of Altered, Forged, or Counterfeit Documents or Plates, Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked, and Unlawful Activities-equipment violation. SKETWAY was arraigned and released on bail. A preliminary hearing, for SKETHWAY, is scheduled for a later date at MDJ Beckley’s office.
