Theft From a Vehicle Leads to Multiple Arrests.

On Monday, December 23, 2013 around 2:20 PM, the West Shore Regional Police was dispatched to the parking lot of Rock Bass Grill in Wormleysburg for an active theft from a vehicle.  A description of the suspect was provided and officers located the subject walking across the Market Street Bridge.  Through an investigation officers learned that 29-year-old Christopher ARRIGA of the 300 block of S. River Street in Wormleysburg had entered into two (2) vehicles in the parking lot.  ARRIGA stole over $2000.00 worth of property.  ARRIGA was arrested and transported to Cumberland County Prison for processing and arraignment.  ARRIGA was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition and was committed to the Cumberland County Prison on $5,000.00 bail.

As the investigation continued officers learned that some of the stolen property was located at ARRIGA’s residence.  Around 6:15 PM a search warrant was executed at ARRIGA’s residence.  ARRIGA’s girlfriend 29-year-old Danielle L. MEYER of the same residence was found to be in possession of the stolen items and also mutiple drug paraphernalia items.

MEYER was then arrested and transported to the Cumberland County Prison.  MEYER was charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
