Counterfeit Investigation Leads to Multiple Arrests

On Saturday, February 1, 2014 the West Shore Regional Police Department was contacted by a business in Lemoyne Borough about a subject that passed a suspected counterfeit $100.00 bill.  The bill was confirmed to be counterfeit and lead to an extensive joint investigation with the Susquehanna Township and Harrisburg City Police Departments and the United States Secret Service. 

Through-out the investigation Officers recovered over $4100.00 of counterfeit currency.  20-year-old Kyle Jamal MARSHALL of the 1400 Block of S. 15th Street in Harrisburg City and 19-year-old Joshua Jeremy DEELEY (homeless) were identified as suspects in the West Shore Regional Police Incident. 

DEELEY was apprehended by the Susquehanna Township Police Department on Friday, February 21st and is currently incarcerated in the Dauphin County Prison.

MARSHALL was arrested on Tuesday, February 25th by the West Shore Regional Police Department and is currently incarcerated in the Cumberland County Prison.

Preliminary Hearings for DEELEY and MARSHALL will be held at a later time.
