Harrisburg Man Arrested For DUI

On Saturday, May 24, 2014 at approximately 11:47 PM a West Shore Regional Police Officer observed a blue 2000 Ford Explorer traveling in excess of 60 mph in a posted 35 mph zone and weaving into the opposing lanes of traffic in the 700 block of N. Front Street in Wormleysburg Borough.  This occurred during a rainstorm when the roadways were saturated with water.

The officer stopped the vehicle and made contact with the operator,  Troy Jamhar MCCRAW of the 700 block of Melrose Street in Harrisburg.  MCCRAW exhibited signs of intoxication and was taken into custody.  MCCRAW was transported to the Cumberland County Prison for processing and a chemical test of his blood.  MCCRAW refused to submit to the chemical test of his blood at the Prison.

A criminal complaint for MCCRAW will be filed at MDJ Beckley’s Office charging him with Driving Under The Influence of Alcohol or Controlled Substance.  PENNDOT will also be notified of MCCRAW’s chemical test refusal and his driver’s license is pending suspension per section 1547(b) of the PA Motor Vehicle Code.

MCCRAW was also found to be on State Parole and was committed to Cumberland County Prison on a Parole Detainer for his arrest.
