WSR20140501071 – MAY 29, 2014
Around 9:00 PM on Thursday, May 29, 2014 the West Shore Regional Police Department was dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Bosler Avenue in Lemoyne. One of the residents of that block was reporting being harassed by a neighbor. When officers arrived they spoke with the suspect, identified as 55-year-old Peter Joseph PANNOZO. While speaking with officers PANNOZO exhibited signs of being intoxicated and continued to be loud while speaking with the officers.
PANNOZO was warned by the officers to remain calm and not use any vulgar language. PANNOZO did not heed to the officer’s warning and continued being loud and shouted out a vulgar statement. The officers then advised PANNOZO that he was under arrest and attempted to take him into custody. PANNOZO resisted the efforts of the officers to arrest him and refused to comply with their requests to stop resisting. After being warned several times PANNOZO was subdued and taken into custody.
PANNOZO was taken to the Cumberland County Prison where he was processed, charged with Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness. He was held at the prison to await arraignment by the on-call Magisterial District Judge. The charges will be filed with MDJ Beckley’s office.
