Harrisburg woman arrested and Harrisburg man wanted in Lemoyne incident

On Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 4:15  AM a West Shore Regional Police Officer was dispatched to the 1st block of N. 4th Street in the Borough of Lemoyne for an individual vandalizing a vehicle.

The officer arrived and found David RIOS at the victim’s damaged vehicle.  RIOS was also recognized as being wanted out of Dauphin County on multiple arrest warrants.  When the officer attempted to take RIOS into custody he resisted and fled the scene.  Officers delayed chase do to a second suspect being on scene.  The second suspect was identified as Alexsandria M. ACEVEDO of the 1900 block of Park Street in Harrisburg City.

After further investigation ACEVEDO was found to be in possession of open alcohol containers, Marijuana, multiple bags of Heroin and Drug Paraphernalia.  ACEVEDO also attempted to flee and resisted but was taken into custody by the officer.

ACEVEDO was transported to the Cumberland County Prison where she was booked and arraigned on charges and committed to the prison on $100,000 bail.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled at MDJ Beckley’s Office at a later date.
