Harrisburg City Man Arrested for Retail Theft Incidents

On Monday, July 21, 2014 at 4:55 PM West Shore Regional Police Officers were dispatched to the Karns Food Store located at 1200 Market Street in Lemoyne Borough for an active retail theft incident where the accused subject was to be fighting with store employee(s).  Officers arrived and found that the defendant, Daric Braden GRAY was being detained by store personnel.   Through an investigation it was learned that GRAY had taken two packages of meat valued at $5.28 and attempted to leave the store without paying for them.

While on scene investigating the Karns Food incident an employee from the Wine and Spirits Shoppe arrived on scene and advised that GRAY had also taken two bottles of alcohol from that store.  The alcohol was valued at $37.98.

GRAY was taken to the Cumberland County Prison to be booked for two (2) counts of Retail Theft.  Charges will be filed at MDJ Beckley’s office.
